Well-coordinated teamwork speaks About Us

About Us
St. Anne’s Muthure Self Help Group, established in April 2001, is a dedicated saving-taking self-help organization, licensed and regulated by Caritas Nairobi.
The group is committed to empowering its members by providing them with opportunities to save money. By doing so, the group creates a substantial pool of funds from which members can obtain loans for essential and productive purposes. These loans are offered at low-interest rates, making them accessible and affordable for all members. The primary goal of St. Anne’s Muthure Self Help Group is to foster a sense of financial independence and security among its members. Through collective effort and mutual support, the group aims to uplift the community and improve the overall quality of life for its members.
The self-help group’s initiatives encompass a variety of programs designed to enhance members’ financial literacy and overall well-being. These initiatives include regular financial education sessions, where members are taught essential money management skills and practices. Additionally, the group hosts workshops on effective saving strategies, empowering members to maximize their savings potential through practical and tailored advice. Members also receive guidance on prudent loan utilization, ensuring they can make the most of the loans provided for their needs while maintaining financial stability.
Beyond financial education, the group is committed to fostering a strong sense of community. They organize numerous community events and activities that promote unity, cooperation, and a shared sense of purpose among members. These events create opportunities for members to bond, support one another, and work collectively towards common goals. Through these efforts, St. Anne’s Muthure Self Help Group not only facilitates financial growth but also strengthens the social fabric of the community, creating a supportive and cohesive environment where everyone can thrive.
